  1. GUCK18E is GUCK v.1.8 by Patrick Seemann (dated August 4, 1991). Guck
  2. will allow you to view a wide variety of picture formats (.IMG, .GEM,
  3. Calamus Raster Graphics, Calamus Page IMG, Doodle, STAD, NEO, DEGAS and
  4. more), and also operates as a text displayer (ASCII [various types]),
  5. 1st Word, 1st Word Plus, and more).  Do you want to print out a file?
  6. You can do that, too.  It works with any ST-TT (Falcon, too?) and
  7. MultiTOS/Geneva in any res.. It even allows you to launch your favorite
  8. text and/or graphics editors. Like View II by Damien Jones, this program
  9. doesn't take up any of your precious RAM because it unloads every time
  10. you use it. While the menus and online helps in GUCK18E have been
  11. translated into English by Steve Wells, the docs remained in German.  If
  12. you don't read German any better than I do you can still work your way
  13. around Guck without much trouble since I've included HOW2GUCK, an
  14. English translation of the docs by John Hechtman. He calls his efforts
  15. "crude instructions," but it looks pretty good to me!  I would say this
  16. is a "must have" if you get Guck.  Thanks John!
